This is a quieter campground best suited to tents and small trailers 30ft or less. Some of the sites are located next to a smaller stream which would be great for fishermen or those who love the sound of water flowing past their campsite. The main draws of Woodland Valley are the streamside fishing and extensive hiking available right from the campground. It is somewhat remote so be sure you bring everything you need!
There is only one shower building in the center of the campground. It is a short to medium walk from the far ends of the campground to the shower building.
Disclaimer: I have not actually camped here, I have only visited to take campsite photos. My reviews are based on having camped at 28 NY State/DEC campgrounds in recent years and having visited/stayed at 86 of the campgrounds which gives me the insight to provide comparisons which I hope are useful to other campers.
